Care Force
Care Force is a benevolence outreach ministry that partners with the social ministries coordinator to perform charity projects that bring Christ's love to the non-Christian or unchurched. Duties range from collecting food to finding resources. Responsible for helping to recruit and organize "White Christmas" Community Store.
Our Care Force Benevolence programs could use persons who would be interested in volunteering 4 hours or 8 hours at the Food Bank. This involves helping to sort foods by category, donated to the Food Bank. Credit is applied to our Food Bank Account for the number of volunteer hours worked. This would reduce the cost of food that we secure from the Food Bank and allow us to purchase more food and serve more families.
We have multiple opportunities for Volunteers to minister through serving those in need. Time requirements varies from two to four hours. Our scheduling is flexible. Please call us if you feel led to become actively involved in our ministry programs.
Time requirements: Based on projects, clients, and availability of members.

King David's Kids
A ministry to autistic, mentally and physically challenged children with significant special needs and their families. The group is a faith based ministry that began at Pioneer Drive's mission church, New Haven Community Church, in 2001.
Along with many activities during the year, this ministry offers a summer camp. Summer camp provides an opportunity for special needs children to experience the Camp Life that they often do not have the opportunity to enjoy.
A specialized curriculum, trained staff and transportation to accommodate wheelchairs are needed to meet the needs of this group. The summer camp brings the message of Jesus to these children and their parents. In addition, the siblings of these special needs children have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of God's plan for their lives, of His promises of sustenance and of His unfailing love.

A Unique Approach... While there are a number of wonderful organizations and entities that organize and execute mission trips, Re.generation is intentionally unique in that from our foundation we emphasize the basis for missions as an outflow of who we are -- not as just something we do.
Re.generation is a holistic ministry that believes the message of the Gospel is best shared by allowing God to use the entirety of a believer's character to develop relationships that seek to meet the needs of others. This concept of developing missional lifestyles is a key component of all programming -- believers are affirmed as missionaries, sent to be vessels of love and grace to their culture through a lifestyle that incarnates God's love through both verbal evangelism, physical sacrifice and social change.
Our ministry also embraces an inclusive approach to missions, building a community of believers from various Christian traditions rooted in serving others through the redemptive love of Christ. In addition, participants are purposefully engaged by multi-cultural interaction during their mission camps. This deliberate interaction provides participants an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of issues such as poverty, ethnicity, and societal discrimination so that they may have a greater understanding of the issues involved in missions.
What ministries are possible?
Service activities range from minor construction to social service ministries. While each camp is different, Re.generation staff works to customize each group's experience so as to balance their giftedness and strengths with a proper amount of new experiences. Previous service activities have included: working with people in homeless shelters, food banks, senior citizen's centers, nursing homes, church VBS, apartment ministries and work with the mentally disabled.
